What is going on in America? It’s a question that has been asked by more than a few people in this country, particularly since the events of 2020. There’s no simple answer to this question, but I believe that the United States has arrived at the end of an era—a historical period that will be remembered for when a coalition of government agencies, their client businesses and a compliant media ran the country more than elected officials.
The most popular name for this coalition is “Deep State.” Ronald Reagan called it on “Iron Triangle.” The signature policy of this coalition is never-ending wars, but it goes much deeper than that.
Whatever you call the coalition, it’s powerful, but that power is weakening. A historical era has run its course. In this video, we do a narrative that covers the most significant developments in the Iron Triangle Era, conclude with why I believe it’s coming to an end and how we can all push through the tumult to what will hopefully a better tomorrow.
“When I came into office, I found the presidency a weakened institution. I found a Washington colony that, through the iron triangle, was attempting to rule the nation according to its interests and desires more than the nation’s.”
Ronald Reagan
