Behind The Arizona Clown Show
It's long past time to release all legal votes and only legal votes in our great 48th state. It's time to end the Arizona vote count fiasco.
We’re eventually going to unpack everything from Election Night, from the good-but-not-what-we-hoped for Republican showing, to the emerging Trump-DeSantis rivalry for 2024, to what it means for the culture overall, and a whole lot more. But right now, all that matters is what’s going on in Arizona. If you haven’t been following, this is the fiasco currently taking place…
*The Republican slate—Kari Lake for governor, Blake Masters for Senate, and Mark Finchem for Secretary of State, all trail in the officially posted results. All of their races are close. In the fourth big race, for Attorney General, GOP candidate Abe Hamadeh has already pulled in the lead.
*There are still—on this Saturday morning after the elections, literally hundreds of thousands of votes that have not yet been counted.
*With very few exceptions, all of those votes are expected to skew heavily Republican, to the tune of at least 60 percent and perhaps as high as 80 percent. They are primarily in Maricopa County, the very place which was the site of a forensic audit of the 2020 vote—an audit that showed a volume of unaccounted for votes that far exceeded Joe Biden’s margin of alleged victory.
So, what’s going on? The answer is simply that officials who are in charge of releasing the votes know what’s coming. They know as soon as this batch is dumped, Kari Lake will not only be governor, but will probably win by a wide margin. They know Blake Masters probably unseats Mark Kelly for the U.S. Senate, an outcome that likely means GOP control of the upper chamber. And they know that Finchem almost certainly wins Secretary of State, meaning he will be able to oversee Arizona’s elections in the future.
But for now, the entire election apparatus is overseen by the current Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs—who happens to be Lake’s opponent in this gubernatorial election. The Maricopa County apparatus is run by establishment Republicans cut in the mold of John McCain and Jeff Flake—anti-Trump Republicans, who despise the conservative populism that Lake represents and would rather live with a Democrat than give the keys of the GOP to the unwashed masses.
Thus, we’re waiting. And the question is this—with the outcome essentially known by everyone, even Democrats, why are we being put through this?
Well, following the logic that the most likely explanation is the most simple, the first reason is this—they’re probably trying to steal the election by getting rid of as many Republican ballots as possible. This isn’t going to be easy. Lake’s team is armed with lawyers and eyes on the ground in a way Trump’s 2020 campaign never was. Furthermore, the media-savvy Lake is driving the narrative, claiming victory and already preparing for her transition to the governor’s office. You can never rule out what Democrats can pull off behind closed doors, but stealing the governor’s chair will be tough. The Senate might be a different story.
But even if they can’t steal any of these races, there’s a deep psychological war going on. By slow-walking this process, they are working to deny the Trump Insurgency being able to celebrate what would be—by far—our biggest victory. Lake’s win would go right up there with the DeSantis landslide in Florida as the earth-shattering moments of Election Night ’22. What the corporate apparatus prefers is that we not able to celebrate, not be able to feel good, and instead turn on each other and start fighting over who’s to blame for why victories weren’t as far-reaching as we had hoped.
We also have to be aware that the apparatus may be trying to provoke a January 6-style incident in Maricopa County. They want to agitate the Trump base of the party.
So, this article comes more in the focus of a request—pray for Arizona. Pray that they release all legal votes and only legal votes. Pray that everyone stays calm.
Kari Lake is showing herself to be a leader in the truest sense, taking command and assuring everyone to remain calm. This is a candidate who walked away from a great career in broadcasting, so she could take on the drug cartels at the border, take on election fraud, and advocate for the right to life and help for expectant mothers. She’s done all of that on the campaign trail and we can reasonably hope she’ll do the same while in office.
But right now, Kari Lake and the entire Republican slate need our prayers to push them peacefully over the finish line. Those of us in the grassroots have two great leaders who have had our backs—President Trump on judges and on the global stage, and Ron DeSantis on medical tyranny. We need a third one to complete The Trifecta. Kari Lake is that candidate. Let’s finish the job. Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas, pray for us.
