How The Trump Trial Was Rigged

A breakdown of several ways the New York City trial trashed the rule of law and inflicted a dangerous wound on the social fabric of the United States.

It will come as no surprise that our focus in this week’s news recap is the Trump verdict in New York City. We break down just a handful of the many ways this entire process was rigged from the start, including:

*The political bias and financial dealings of the judge’s family
*The venue and the obvious coordination with Biden’s Department of Justice
*The lack of credibility of the star witnesses
*The utterly absurd jury instructions, leading to an incomprehensible verdict.

And in the course of the video, I forgot to mention something else—that the judge actually threw out the key expert witness brought by Trump’s defense, when that witness began explaining things that completely undermined the prosecution’s case.

All of which is to say that the notion that Donald Trump was given any opportunity to reasonably defend himself is demonstrably untrue.

It’s a devastating indictment of our nation’s legal system and shows what we really are at this hour of history. We wrap up the video by exploring a few bigger-picture takeaways—like how often stuff like this happens to defendants who aren’t rich and famous. Or  what it says about the inability of Trump-haters control their impulse. And how the broader Trump movement can find a way to effectively respond.
