The Divine Echoes
A three-video series on the existence of God, the divinity of Christ and the Divine Origins of Holy Mother Church
The foundational content of Corned Beef Catholicism is the videos I began making this past year with a friend of mine here in Massachusetts. My co-host, John Tuturice, has a masters in philosophy and theology and we’ve taken up meaty subjects that are in his wheelhouse.
So on this beautiful Sunday morning, as we look at our snow-capped New England landscape in the aftermath of the big Nor’easter, I want to share a three-video series we did on the existence of God.
The first video deals with the case for Divine Revelation itself—that is, did God choose to reveal Himself to the human race. This belief is a cornerstone of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, all of which trace their founding points to a belief that the Divine interacted with human beings at a seminal point in history.
The second video seeks to make the more explicitly Christian case that the Revelation comes in the person of Jesus. And in the final video, we lay out our belief that Jesus chose to extend that Revelation into our own day by means of the Catholic Church’s sacramental life.
All of these videos seek to understand what we’ll call The Divine Echoes, that sense all human beings have that something is greater is out there beyond what the eye can see. Everybody enjoy their Sunday! And by all means, if you like the content you see here on this and any other subject, please share.
